I originally studied Child & Youth Work prior to completing my degree and worked as a residential cleaner while in school. After spending 11 years in recruitment, I decided to make a career change and return to childcare as a nanny, a field I’ve always been passionate about and where I felt I could use my strengths to make a meaningful difference for families. Through that work, I saw firsthand that many families needed more flexible support than traditional childcare and housekeeping could provide.
That experience led me to launch Hawthorn Family Company, a family-focused business offering practical, all-around support for busy households. Every family and household is different, so I provide flexible support based on what you need.
